The group meets weekly for 75-minute sessions.  Offered Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays.  Please call or email for exact times.  Each group will have no more than 6 participants.

Healing Through Writing

The aim of this therapeutic writing group is to foster greater self-awareness. Group participants will offer each other support and generate new insights through the process of writing.

Each session will begin with introductions and a check-in. We then go directly to a writing prompt. We may pause for reflection on the prompt itself.

We will then have several periods of writing stream-of-consciousness style for 5 to 8 minutes. After each writing period, I will invite the group to share their thoughts and experiences and make room for reflections and feedback.

My intent is to create a safe space of confidentiality and non judgement. This group is led by a licensed professional counselor and is intended as group therapy and not a writing workshop or class. Therefore you need not have extensive experience with writing.
